It’s less complicated than you’re expecting in terms of syncing. Thank you for any help or advice that you can provide, it is very much appreciated. I wish to know the basic framework that needs to be built to accommodate a system like this, along with the other pipeline work that needs to be taken into consideration, for instance packaging musical tracks or syncing animations or in-game cutscenes. Furthermore, at least to me, there is lack of a noticeable transition or audio cuts to accommodate changes in the track. Obviously, if the music system isn't synced, the Vocalist's entry into the track wouldn't occur at such consistent timings. Upon viewing multiple videos of mentioned boss fight, I have noticed that the Vocalist's introduction always occurs at roughly the same time during the Quick Time event, regardless of how long the player takes to reach said event. The most famous of which is during the game's first boss battle, where a Quick Time event involving a giant flaming sword coming down on your protagonist is accentuated by a rise in the music that crescendos with the song's lyrical variant crashing in, guided in by the roaring one-liner delivered by the vocalist. The game Metal Gear Rising Revengeance has a musical mechanic in its boss battles where the music is both synced to the player's actions, and dynamically changes during game events.
